What Is a Guided Relaxation?

My guided relaxation recordings are intended for one to get in a comfortable position, and listen as I use guided imagery an calming music to help you get into a deep state of relaxation. In this relaxed state, you can fully let go of stress and anxiety. Each relaxation is tailored for either children, teens or adults.

How does one Create a Vision Board?

A vision board is created using a poster board, images and positive affirmations. Our vision board workshops include journaling  and a series of exercises to help us determine what our true life goals are. We then choose words and pictures to represent how we will feel when our goals are reached.

Testimonials

“I highly recommend Deep Relaxation by Australian Accents. It is a very effective tool for my clients who are dealing with anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain and anger management. On a personal level, it was also very helpful to my 19 year old granddaughter and our entire family during 2010, when she spent that year at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital undergoing chemotherapy and surgery. She continues to find it helpful as she studies in medical school at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.”

“In today’s world of advanced technology our minds are constantly engaged and switched on. Teenagers are some of those mostly affected and do not have the tools to disengage from the buzz and stress of society. As a parent and a teacher, I highly recommend “Relaxation For Teenagers” by Australian Accents. This soothing recording teaches adolescents how to wind-down, breathe and disengage from external stresses and allows them to focus on their own thoughts and mindfulness. This recording teaches life-long relaxation skills to help teenagers destress no matter where they are”.

“Relaxation For Children by Australian Accentsis an excellent tool that parents, teachers, and counselors can use to help teach children the valuable skill of deep relaxation using guided imagery and progressive muscle relaxation. With this CD we will be able to better assist those students who have not learned the skill of emotion control.”
